Bradshaw Hall Fisheries open / Club Match Rules

  • 3 keepnets to be used from the start of all matches.
  • Nets to be placed behind your peg and only placed in the water 15 minutes before the match starts.
  • There is a 60lb limit per keepnet. If there is 60-70lb in one keepnet, this will be counted as 60lbs. Anything over 70lbs in the one keepnet will be disqualified.
  • When using 3 nets, the weight of the fish must be split evenly for all the weight to count.
  • When fishing a silver fish match, there is a 50lb limit per keepnet. If there is 50-60lb in one keepnet, this will be counted as 50lb. Anything over 60lb in the one keepnet will be disqualified.
  • All feeders and bombs must be free running to a bead.
  • No elasticated methods or fixed rigs.
  • When fishing the tip, you cannot clip up with a feed attached, only a bomb.
  • No method feeder floats or any adaptations.
  • Pellet wagglers must be a maximum diameter of 10mm.
  • Jiggers are allowed (must be correctly shotted)
  • When fishing the pole, you must use a pole rig with a correctly shotted float -no over shotting.
  • 4 inches of line must be used between pole tip to your float. It must be a minimum of 4 inches.
  • Your pole float must not be held out of the water for excessive amounts of time. You may lift your rig out of the water and lowered back in immediately your pole float must be touching the water.
  • Back shot may be used but it must not sink your float when laid in the water.
  • 6-pint total bait limit per match applies on lakes 8&9
  • There is a 1kg ground bait limit per angler.
  • There is an 8-pint total bait limit per match applies on lakes 2-3-6-7. Lake 4 has no bait limit
  • Ground bait 1 kilo per match.
  • No floating baits.
  • No cat or dog meat.
  • 16 meter pole limit on all matches.
  • No cups over the water before all in.
  • No floating pole.
  • Barbless hooks only maximum size 12.
  • Please net all fish.

Gardening rules

  1. You may trim any grass down your edge or across (No takes or spades)
  2. Net all loose grass out of the water
  3. No trimming or pulling reeds out
  4. No flattening reeds or vegetation or forming cover
  5. No breaking surface of the water


ANY ANGLERS NOT FOLLOWING THESE RULE WITH BE DISQUALIFED FROM THE MATCH
